FAQ:

I cant listen to any tracks, why not?
  To listen to the music on this site you will Windows Media Player which can be dowloaded from here.
What credit cards do we accept?
  All Visa (excluding Electron), MasterCard, Switch (including Solo) and JCB.
Are we secure?
  Any credit card details required are exchanged via the Barclays© Online Payment System. This implements 128bit SSL encryption and so your details will be safe.
What do we do with you rpersonal details?
  Your personal details are kept in our secure database and are used only when you place an order, to speed up the process. We do not pass your details onto any other person or organisation.
What happens if my credit card details are not accepted?
  If your credit card details are not accepted it means either you do not have eough credit in your account or the Barclays© system has detected a possible fraudulent card. Either way, it would be better to arrange payment by cheque or postal order, which can also be done through the site.
What do I do if I do not want to pay by credit card?
  If you do not want to pay by credit card, simply select a different method of payment from the menu on the checkout page.
What do I do if the products I recieve are faulty?
  If your products turn out to be faulty send and email to andre@sure-shots.com, or telephone (+44) 01481 726696.
How do I chase up an order?

How long before I receive my goods?
  Depending on where you live, postage can take up to a week. If you are in the the UK and you pay by credit card, you can expect to see your goods within a couple of days.
I cant log into the site when trying to place an order, why not?
  This is likely to be because you do not have cookies enabled on your browser. These must be enabled before you can use the site properly.
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
  Click here and it will be sent to your email address.
How do I update my personal details?
  When you login at the checkout your details will be displayed in a number editable text boxes. Simply changing these values and moving to the next checkout stage will update them.


Welcome to the Sure Shots Web Site Information and help pages.

This section of the site aims to help out with any queries concerning orders, payment, use of the site, suggestions on content and any other questions you may have.

We like to have a more personal relationship with our customer base than your average web based company so we will always that try to reply your emails, track requests, etc as soon as possible.

There are a number of topics in this help section. To navigate through them use the menu on the left hand side of this page.

How to Order

Placing an order with Sure Shots Records has been made as easy as possible with the implementation of an online shopping cart and a secure credit card payment system. Along with these features, your details are also stored in our highly secure SQL Server database so that you do not have to re-enter your information every time you place an order.
To add an item to your shopping cart simply click on the section you wish to view (music or gear). Alternatively you can use our dedicated search facility to see if we have a track that you are looking for. Select the catalogue you wish to view and click GO to browse through that catalogue.
Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, check to see if the 'buy' icon for that item (to the left of the catalogue display table) does not have a cross through it. If the buy icon has a cross through it, it means that it is currently out of stock. How do I place an order for an out of stock item? . If there is no cross then click the buy icon and the item will be added to your shopping cart.
Once the item has been added to your cart, you can change the quantities/remove the item via the cart page.
When you are happy with the contents of your cart, click the 'proceed to checkout' link. You will then be asked for your username and password. If you do not have one, you can sign up here. Log in and your details will be displayed along with the contents of your cart and the total price (including postage). If any of your details are incorrect or have changed, simply update them. To confirm the order, select a payment method from the drop down menu and click 'Proceed'.
If you chose to pay using a credit card, you will be forwarded to the Barclay's secure payment processing site where you will be asked for your credit card details. Once accepted, you will be returned to the Sure Shots site for confirmation of the order.
If you chose to pay using any other method, a Sure Shots Records Employee will contact you ASAP to arrange payment.
Following confirmation of the order, you will recieve an email containing your unique order number along with the other order details which you should keep for reference.
Your goods will be dispatched immediatly if you paid by credit card or as soon as payment is confirmed if you paid by any other method.

How to Place an Order for an out of stock item

If you go to buy an item and the 'buy' icon has a red cross through it, it means that that item is currently out of stock. Clicking on the buy icon will bring up a pop up window which prompts you for your email address. You can place an order for the item by submitting your email address. This will inform our stock department that you want that item and you will be sent an email when it comes back into stock.

If you buy items from more than one group (eg a record and a t-shirt) then the postage price for the first item will be the cheapest of the two groups and all items thereafter will use their 'price thereafter' value.

Mailing List and How to Claim your Discount

By signing up to the Sure Shots Records Mailing List you will receive up to date news on the latest new releases and offers as well being able to claim a 5% discount on orders over £40.00.
To claim the discount you need to enter the discount password (which is provided within the email sent to subscribers and is changed every week) at the checkout, along with any changes in your personal details that may be required.

Web Glossary

Cookie: This is a small file that is stored on your computer by the website. If you request to be automatically logged in the next time you visit (from the checkout page), the site will store a cookie on your computer containing your username and password so that the website will know to log you in automatically.

Shopping Cart: This is the virtual version of a real shopping cart. You move through the store, adding items to it and then move onto the checkout where you pay for the items and the cart is emptied.

Audio Streaming: This is the process of playing audio to you across the internet.
